Most big companies have customer-loyalty programs. Mom-and-pop stores? Not so much.
That’s the idea behind Fivestars, a Silicon Valley startup that uses specialized software and Big Data Analytics to create customer-loyalty programs for small businesses, says co-founder Victor Ho.
“If you walk down the street to your local coffee shop and ask that person, ‘Hey, how many customers do you have? How much money does your best customer spend?’ They can’t even tell you,” Ho explains. “They are completely blind. So Fivestars was founded on that premise.”
