Between St. Patrick’s Day (March 17), March Madness, International Women’s Day (March 8), and National Waffle Day (March 25), there’s a multitude of fun and unusual occasions in the month of March. These happenings and holidays also pose as excellent ways to promote your business and encourage customers to shop.

Occasion: Show all the women in your life how much you appreciate them on International Women’s Day!

Daylight Savings (March 13) ideas:

Other ideas: Instead of offering a discount for Earth Day or International Women’s Day, consider making a donation instead. Ex: “For every  $10 you spend we’ll donate $1” or “20% of your purchase goes to” an environmental or human rights charity. Some great examples include Environmental Defense Fund, Humane Society, Global Fund for Women, International Rescue Committee, and Doctors Without Borders.
