4 Ideas for a July 4th Promotion

Summer Promotion Ideas

Mark your calendar, July 4th is coming up fast! Like we mentioned in previous promotion ideas posts, with any national holiday, you have a great opportunity to encourage and incentivize your current loyal customers to shop with your business first! If you are a Fivestars business, we make it easy to contact your customers to let them know about about holiday specials or events via email and text.

4 Quick and Easy July 4th Promotion Ideas

Be sure to share and advertise these promotions to your customers via email or text message with your Fivestars dashboard. To increase the amount of customers who see your July 4th promotions, share them on your social media sites as well.

  1. Whisper Code: “Cool off during the parade! Buy one ice cream sandwich & get one FREE! Just whisper “American Pride” to your cashier! Only today at CREAM!”
  2. An Exclusive or Time Sensitive Promotion: “Fivestars Members Only! Drop in between 2pm-6pm on July 4th and get a free queso with your chips and salsa! Be sure to show your waitress this email message at Don Ramon’s to get your July 4th queso special!”
  3. Happy Hour Deal: “Show your American pride with an extra 40% off any July 4th apparel or gifts! Offer valid when you shop this Mon-Wed between 2-6pm. Show this text at any Cupid’s Boutique to get your discount!”
  4. Impromptu Event: “Before you head to see the fireworks, come to Mango’s Cantina & Grill for a special July 4th buffet and free live music. If you are wearing red, white, and blue, enjoy $2 domestic draft beers!”

Note: These are example promotions you can send, not real promotions that these businesses currently offer. But you should visit them anyway if you are in the area!

Now you can send out your July 4th promotion via email and text message to your Fivestars customers. Just log in, click on the Campaigns tab, click Create Campaign, and set up your promotional message, add a picture when relevant, and then click send!
